Who we are
Zoe Labchem Company is a Dar es Salaam based chemical supplier. Our core is analytical chemicals, mining chemicals and bulk reagents, from high-purity methanol and absolute ethanol to standard solutions and stains. Alongside them we supply glassware, laboratory equipment, PPE and medical and diagnostic supplies. We serve laboratories, schools, mines, hospitals and research institutions across Tanzania.
The company was founded to solve a specific problem: institutional buyers here could get products, or they could get paperwork, but rarely both from the same supplier. A laboratory would receive a reagent with no safety data sheet, or a hospital would wait a week for a quotation formal enough for procurement to approve.
We built the business the other way round: around the documentation buyers actually need, with the stock to back it. Today that means holding the consumables institutions reorder constantly, and sourcing the specialist items they need occasionally.
What we do
Institutional buyers rarely purchase off a shelf. They compare specifications, order in bulk, and need a formal quotation before procurement can approve anything. Brands we supply
We source from established chemical manufacturers first, and from established makers of diagnostics, consumables and laboratory equipment alongside. Named brands are confirmed on the quotation for the specific item you are ordering, and documentation for any product is available on request.
Where a laboratory is standardised on a particular make, tell us at the enquiry stage. We will quote that make where we can source it, and say so plainly where we cannot rather than substituting an equivalent you did not ask for.
How we work
Four steps, and no payment is taken at any of them until a quotation has been agreed.

A quote list from the catalogue, or a specification if the item is not listed. Either reaches the same inbox.

We check stock and price
Against what we hold and what our suppliers can deliver, at the quantity you asked for rather than a list price.

You receive a quotation
Itemised, with VAT and delivery shown separately, and a reference number your procurement team can file against.

We supply and follow up
Goods delivered with their documentation, and a point of contact afterwards for replacements or a repeat order.
Quality and documentation
Everything we sell is bought from established manufacturers and distributors, and arrives with the paperwork that proves it. Chemicals are stored and transported to their classification, and we will say plainly when something is outside what we can supply safely rather than substituting a product you did not ask for.
Safety data sheets
Chemicals ship with the SDS for the consignment, giving handling, storage and first-aid information for the grade supplied.
Manufacturer documentation
Devices and equipment arrive with the manufacturer's own paperwork, including operating instructions where the product carries them.
Batch and expiry details
Consumables and reagents are supplied with batch numbers and expiry dates recorded, so stock can be tracked against your own registers.
Where we deliver
From Dar es Salaam to laboratories, schools, mines and hospitals nationwide. City deliveries are made directly; upcountry consignments go by the courier best suited to the goods.
Delivery is quoted separately from the items on every quotation, so there is nothing to discover after approval. Lead times are stated on the quotation and we tell you if one changes.
